Epsom Derby Contenders 2025 - Vadamar
In Vadamar, the French have another major Derby contender at Epsom this season and the Alain De Royer-Dupre trained horse could something of a dark horse. At the start of the season it was Vadamar who was considered the big Derby hope from France but after being defeated by Pour Moi last time out he has been somewhat overshadowed in the betting.
Latest Vadamar Epsom Derby 2025 Odds
Vadamr won his first race of the season back at the start of April in style at Saint-Cloud and he went into the Prix Greffulhe as the odds on favourite with the Epsom Derby the long term aim. That day he set off like a scolded cat and failed to settle after missing the break as he was comfortably beaten by the impressive Pour Moi. On the face of it he has a bit to find against Pour Moi but connections are bullish about his chances and if his last run can be forgiven he could be an interesting runner on Saturday.
