Epsom Derby Spread Betting 2025
The Epsom Derby is of course one of the biggest betting races of the year and as well as the traditional fractional odds from the bookmakers there are also a number of spread betting markets for punters to enjoy. Spread Betting offers punters the chance to have a different kind of bet on the Derby which measures the accuracy of their prediction as well as opposed to the more traditional right or wrong bet.
Epsom Derby Outright Win Market
Spread Betting on horse racing is massively popular but the main one featured is the outright win market which is usually done against a Win Index Points system. With a Points Index each rider is given a spread price before the race and punters can then have a bet how many more or less points the horse will achieve during the race. The Winner of the race in a 50 Index will be given 50 points, the second place will be given 30 points and so on.
Example 50 Index Points System
- Winner = 50pts
- 2nd = 30pts
- 3rd = 20pts
- 4th = 10 pts
