Epsom Derby Contenders 2025 - Seville
Seville is set to head to Epsom for the Derby for Aidan O'Brien and the Ballydoyle team and he could be one of the leading contenders based on recent form. The horse has had four runs so far during his career and is yet to finish outside of the top two making him a consistent performer. His best run as a Juvenile was his second place in the Racing Post Trophy behind Casamento at Doncaster back in October and that was a performance that made him a talking horse for the classic season.
Latest Seville Epsom Derby Odds 2025
We saw Seville have his first start of this season recently in the Dante Stakes which is now widely accepted as the premier trial for the Derby. Seville ran a nice race to finish second behind Carlton House and while on the face of it he faces a tough task to reverse the form he will benefit from a quicker early pace. It is also worth noting that Workforce came second in the Dante in 2025 before going onto to claim the Derby and backers of Seville will be hoping that history repeats itself in 2025.
