Cape Blanco - 2025 Epsom Derby Betting
Cape Blanco is a genuine Derby Contender for 2025 as he showed with an excellent win in the Dante Stakes up at York, that run alone means he has to be taken seriously as it did look a good trial this year. He beat top class horses such as Workforce, Coordinated Cut and Chabal who was being well tipped for Godolphin so the win has to be given the respect it deserves. He was the first winner for Aiden O'Brien in the UK and is yet another Derby contender for the Master of Ballydoyle who has won all of the big races in his time.
Cape Blanco has won all four of his starts so far and having never tasted defeat on the race track has caught the eye of many punters for the Derby. He was slashed in the Epsom Derby Odds as a result of his win in the Dante and Jockey Johnny Murtagh was very impressed with the run after the race. Murtagh, is now left with a tough decision to make with Cape Blanco, St Nicholas Abbey and Midas Touch set to go for O'Brien and all three have live we will learn a lot about each of those horses including Cape Blanco when the jockey bookings are announced for the Epsom Derby. One thing for sure is that whoever is on board this colt will have a great chance of claiming classic glory at Epsom next month if his form is anything to go by.
