Epsom Derby Contenders 2025 - Bonfire Odds
Andrew Balding looks to have a potential Derby Runner on his hands this season in the shape of the highly exciting Bonfire. Balding is yet to have a runner in the big race at Epsom and in this horse he looks to have a real contender to aim at the race. The Highclere owned horse had a good season last year but his win in the dante recently has seen him become a serious contender in the Epsom Betting.
Latest Bonfire Epsom Derby 2025 Win Odds
Bonfire first came to notice last year when he finished a fast finishing third in the Criterium at Saint-Cloud in France. He had a terrible passage that day through the race but finished like a train to capture third place and Bonfire has been a talking horse for the Derby ever since.
Connections sent him to the Dante Stakes at York for his first run this season and he duly won well to confirm himself as a Derby contender. He only one the race by three quarters of a length but he was always in charge having travelled very well for most of the race. Dante winners do have a great record in the Derby which is a good stat and the bookmakers believe he is the one who is most likely to challenge Camelot at Epsom.
