Al Zir Derby Betting 2025
Al Zir has been confirmed as a runner for the Epsom Derby after a good workout on the gallops pleased his connesctions, he had a great start to his racing career as a two-year old and now looks set to go for glory aged three. He won two of his race slast year before coming in a creditable third place behind St Nicholas Abbey in the Racing Post Trophy at the back end of the season.
Latest Al Zir Epsom Derby 2025 Betting
We last saw him at Newmarket in the 2025 Guineas last month when he came in a poor ninth place after having trouble coming out of the stalls, Godolphin are confident that he is better than that run and are confident he can produce an improved run at Epsom. Frankie Dettori is expected to take the ride on Rewilding for Godolphin in the Derby but he was pleased with the way Al Zir worked recently meaning he may take a second look at each of them. If Dettori does plump for Rewilding as expected then we are likely to Ahmed Ajtebi on board Al Zir who could spring a surprise at Epsom and will be attractive to the each/way punters.
