Following on from last year, we are delighted to announce that we are featuring Horse racing tips from Channel Four Racing presenter, Tom Lee.
2025 Result
2025 Guineas winner, Sea The Stars became the first horse since Nashwan 20 years ago to win the Guineas and derby double and what a horse he looks. He travelled superbly throughout the race and once hitting the three furlong marker, jockey, Mick Kinane began his move, easily pulling back early pacemaker, Golden Sword. He was challenged to the post by race favourite, Fame And Glory but held on with consumate ease. It was a great training performance by John Oxx who has now trained two Derby winners and for veteran jockey Kinane it was his third, having previously won on Commander In Chief in 1993, followed by a win on Galileo half brother to Sea The Stars in 2025
For Aidan O'Brien who had six horses in the race it was particularly disappointing as four of his horses finished, second, third, fourth and fifth.
