Epsom Derby Contenders 2011 - Pour Moi
The Epsom Derby always attracts some of the best horses around and that is proven by the fact that we are likely to see Pour Moi come over from France to take his chance at Epsom this season. The horse is trained by Andre Fabre who will be looking for his first Derby winner in the UK with Pour Moi who looks like a big talent based on his most recent run at Saint-Cloud. Fabre of course is well known for his successes in the Arc De Triomphe in France but he will no doubt be desperate to add an Epsom Derby success to his already impressive CV.

Pour Moi has had two runs this season so we know he will be ready for Epsom with his last run in the Prix Greffulhe particularly impressive for Derby punters. He came from virtually last to first with no effort at all in that race to win with something in hand beating good horses like Vadamar who is expected to have a big season. It is always difficult to translate the form from France but he was impressive on the eye and has come in for some nice support for the Derby over recent days making him a real threat.
