Investec Diomed Stakes Betting 2012
The Investec Diomed Stakes is named after the first ever winner of the Epsom Derby back in 1780 and it continues to be run during the Festival with the race taking place on Derby Day this season. The race is a Group 3 race run over just over a mile and we have had some nice winners of the race since it was first run in 1971 when it was won by Sparkler. Three horses have won the Diomed Stakes twice with the last of those being Blythe Knight who was successful in 2007 and 2008 while the most recent winner was Bushman who won for William Buick and David Simcock.
One to watch in the betting today is Premio Loco who will be going for trainer Chris Wall, he ran third last time out behind Canford Cliffs in the Lockinge and that form could see him tough to beat today.
