Henrythenavigator Unlikely To Run
The Epsom Derby is coming at us quick and fast and the latest news is that Henrythenavigator is highly unlikely to run. The dual classic winner of the English and Irish 2000 Guineas may now not take his place in the Vodafone Derby at Epsom on Saturday week due to the prevailing soft ground and this has resulted in his odds being eased from 4-1 to 5-1 for the classic by VC Bet.
Neal Wilkins from VC Bet commented “It appears that Henrythenavigator who was backed down from 6/1 to 4/1 with us after his decisive victory in the Irish 2,000 Guineas last Saturday is unlikely to be in the line up although the horse attracted a sizeable wager with us the moment we went 5/1. Perhaps connections have adhered to the views detailed by the erudite James Willoughby in the Racing Post earlier in the week!”
