Tartan Bearer 2nd Favourite

Tartan Bearer is 5-1 from 14-1 second favourite with the totesport for the Derby following his totesport.com Dante win today. Runner-up Frozen Fire is 6-1 from 40-1 and third-placed Twice Over has been removed from the Derby betting. Spokesman Damian Walker said: “Tartan Bearer left his Leicester maiden form a long way behind to land the Dante and we were impressed enough to make him second favourite.

“We still feel Curtain Call is the one to beat though and have trimmed him to 4-1 from 5-1 clear favourite. “The final piece in the Derby jigsaw is made up by last weekend’s Derrinstown Stud winner Casual Conquest and we wait with interest to see if he will be supplemented.”.
