Curtain Call Impressive at Nottingham

Impressive Nottingham winner Curtain Call was cut from 7s into 13/2 with Stan James for the Epsom Derby following his facile win at Nottingham this afternoon. Head of PR Charlie McCann: "Whilst Curtain Call will face a much stiffer test at Epsom he showed enough to suggest that he can be a force to be reckoned with in the Derby especially with the news of Champion juvenile New Approach earlier in the week. A group 2 winner as a two-year-old back in Ireland he is not guaranteed to appreciate fast ground and connections will be hoping for rain in the build up to the race, but in a wide open year he certainly deserves his place in the field."
